Well, here we go again, the UK’s third full lockdown.
At Volunteering in Health, we have learnt a lot over the last year and made many changes to the ways in which we work, to be Covid safe. That means that going into lockdown again doesn’t change much for us this time. Staff are already working from home and conducting appointments virtually. Our Transport and Home Help Services can continue to run, albeit on a smaller scale and with all the PPE to keep staff, volunteers and clients safe.
So if you need to refer yourself, a friend, family member, or patient you can still do so – please use our referral form if you can and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re interested in volunteering, please fill in our Application Form if you can. To make a booking for transport, or for any other telephone enquiries please call us on 01626 771696. This number is currently monitored Monday – Friday 10am-12pm but it can get busy, so please do leave a message if we don’t answer straight away.
Although we are now well set up for lockdown and working from home, please remember that many of our staff are also juggling home schooling. If we take longer to get back to you than normal, please bare with us!
Thank you to all of our partners, referrers, staff, trustees, volunteers, clients and other supporters who have kept the Volunteering in Health wheels turning through this pandemic!
