Volunteering in Health continue to offer many services throughout the lockdown period.

The office has been closed since 17th March 2020 and the Home Help Service and Transport Services have been suspended during lockdown to protect our staff and volunteers.  Several staff have been furloughed as a result of this, so if you are unable to reach your usual contact within Volunteering in Health, please email info@volunteeringinhealth.co.uk and we will find someone suitable to help you.

All of our Wellbeing Services continue but are now offered over the telephone.  So if you or someone you know needs help with finding information about local services, dealing with anxiety or loneliness due to the lockdown, or any other health and wellbeing needs, please contact us at info@volunteeringinhealth.co.uk

During lockdown we do not have a direct telephone contact number, however we are working closely with The Alice Cross Centre.  So if you would prefer to speak to someone, please call their Coronavirus Helpline on 01626 626626 and they will pass messages on to us as required.

Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who have made significant adaptations to ensure that we can continue to support some of the most vulnerable and isolated people during this difficult time.  We have been overwhelmed by the huge number of new volunteers who have joined us wanting to help others.  Thank you.
